Facebook Launch New Messenger lite version in India

Facebook launched new Messenger Lite app has finally made its way to India. This lightweight version of Messenger is faster, uses less data and works in all network conditions.You can download this app for your Android smartphones via Google Play store.It will,however ,not be available for iPhone users.

Messenger Lite:
• The app is smaller just (17mb), so it downloads quickly and uses less storage space.
• You can send text, photos and links to anyone who uses Messenger, Messenger Lite or Facebook Lite.
• Be more efficient with your mobile data and save space for other apps. Using less data will save you more money.
• It's designed for 2G networks and areas with slow or unstable internet connections. If you don't have a connection, your messages will be delivered when you have signal.

Features:

The features offered by the newly-launched app include the ability to send and receive text, photos, emojis, and stickers. Users will also be able to send links to videos and websites via text. To keep data consumption low, the app does not allow voice and video calling, message-based money transfer and the ability to send GIFs.
